Tours

Part of the philosophy of the SaMarc Dream and Achieve Foundation is that children will aspire to what they know and therefore, we want to expose them to places and events that are not part of their normal day-to-day lives.  One of the ways we do that is through a Foundation sponsored tour each year.  Our first tour was to an Atlanta Hawks/Toronto Raptors game and a tour of the CNN Center in Atlanta.  Our second tour was to the NASA Space Museum in Huntsville, AL.  The third year, we took our kids to the MLK Center in Atlanta and then on to a Hawks/Raptors game.  For our next tour, we are undertaking the ambitious project of visiting Washington, DC and touring the White House. 

As our kids see what is available beyond the confines of their usual environment, they can develop their own dreams and work to make them come true.
